Here are the Mega Millions winning numbers for the drawing on Tuesday night, when the jackpot climbed to $262 million after nobody won the $236 top prize on Friday.

Mega Millions Winning Numbers on Tuesday

According to USA Today, the Mega Millions winning numbers for Tuesday night or January 23 drawing were 21, 28, 58, 69, 70, and the Mega Ball was 20. The Megaplier was 2X.

Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot was an estimated $262 million with a cash option of $123.5 million after taxes. The Mega Millions website noted that a lottery player only needs to match one number in Mega Millions to win a prize.

However, that number must be the Mega Ball with a prize worth $2. On the other hand, you win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing.

Did Anyone Win in Tuesday's Mega Millions?

According to TC Palm, no one has yet to claim to be a jackpot winner. The jackpot prize will keep increasing until someone wins the grand prize.

The next Mega Millions drawing will happen at 11 p.m. ET on Friday, January 26. Mega Millions tickets start at $2 each and are offered in 45 states, Washington DC, and the US Virgin Islands.
