Will Miller is the CEO and founder of Priority Roofing. He operates his business on three core values, and here, he explains how they've allowed him and his team members to achieve so much success.

There's nothing in life that's more important than family, which is why when Will Miller decided to start his own business, he knew that he had to do things differently. Miller is the CEO and founder of Priority Roofing, and his desire to prioritize those around him has made a bigger impact than he ever would've imagined.

Originally from Dallas Fort-Worth, Miller always knew that he wanted to help people. In fact, it's been a driving force in everything that he does. Miller operates Priority Roofing, much like his life, on three core principles - family, life, and excellence.

He believes in the importance of uplifting and supporting those around him, and does so by leading by example, and teaching every team member across ten locations, to operate on the same principles that have helped him to be so successful.

"Before a business person, I want to be a family person, but more than that, I want people who work with us to feel that value," he says. "Your family should always come first. There's no type of world where sacrificing relationships for financial return is ever worth it in the long run," he adds.

For every single person that joins Priority, Miller explains that there's a mom and pop relational feel. "Yeah, this is a big company, but it doesn't have that corporate, transactional feel where you walk in and feel like you're a number or you're just part of the system," he says. "If we ever lose that, then we really lose who we are and all of a sudden the purpose behind what we're doing becomes irrelevant."

Miller says that if you're a part of the team, your value is based on that. It's not based on what you can bring to the company. "And to me, that's what Priority Family looks like. It looks like us being intentional about the people around us and us being intentional about who we are as an organization."

"And if you're with me in going after this opportunity, this vision and its potential, then you know that sometimes work might flow into other parts of your life," Miller says. The second priority is Priority Life is about going all in and striking the perfect balance for yourself between life and work that will allow you to grow in the best way possible.

"I don't just want to grow based on how much money I can make or how good I am at business. I want to grow in my ability to impact people around me," he says. "I want to grow my own personal development and mental health. I want to grow my ability to connect with God and connect my purpose, and it can be hard to do that if I just block off 40 hours of my week for work, and spend the rest of my time trying to enjoy my life. There should be a balance and sense of fulfillment all around," he continues.

Miller adds that with his team, he's committed to helping them grow beyond just their positions at work, because at the end of the day, he wants them to succeed in all areas of their lives. One way he does so is by regularly bringing investment experts in for team meetings, where his employees can learn about investing and potentially financially secure their futures.

The third and final priority is Priority Excellence, which means excellence in everything that you do. "We want to be excellent when it comes to customer service, installation, giving the customer the value they paid for, at profitability. But if my only focus for excellence is profitability, then we missed the mark," Miller says.

"Sometimes I'll tell my team like hey, like, if you're excellent at profitability but you're not excellent at installation details or not excellent customer service, then you need to focus more on these things because it looks like excellence in every single area," he continues.

Excellence in every single area is also about honesty, integrity, and professionalism, he explains. Perhaps that's why all ten Priority Roofing locations have either a 4.9 or higher rating on Google Better Business Bureau and Yelp.

Will Miller is revolutionizing the salesworld with a new approach to company culture that is changing people's lives and giving them the tools they need to reach their higher potential.
