Regions Bank Grove Bowl is all set for April 2017

Ole Miss will host 2017 Regions Bank Grove Bowl festivities on April 8 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The game time is set for 11am Central Time and admission will be free. The game will also be aired live on SEC Network.

During the game, the Grove Bowl, Ole Miss will be officially unveil the New Jake Gibbs Letterwinner Walk, which will permanently display the names of every letter winner in a varsity sport in Ole Miss Athletic history, which is just outside the north end of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The Rebel baseball team hosts Alabama that weekend, including a 4 p.m. first pitch on that Saturday. For information on baseball season tickets, visit www.OleMissTix.com. The annual Chucky Mullins breakfast will be held prior to the Grove Bowl kickoff.

The Ole Miss Rebels football program represents the University of Mississippi also known as "Ole Miss". The Rebels compete in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The football history of Ole Miss includes the formation of the first football team in the state and the 26th team on the list of college football's all-time winning programs. The Ole Miss Rebels posted their 600th win on September 27, 2008 when they defeated the (then-ranked No. 4 and future 2008 Bowl Championship Series (BCS) national champion) Florida Gators 31-30 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.

Throughout the 115-year history of Ole Miss football, the Rebels have won six Southeastern Conference titles (1947, 1954, 1955, 1960, 1962, and 1963) and three national titles (1959, 1960 and 1962). The team is currently coached by Hugh Freeze.

SEC Network is an American digital cable and satellite television channel that is owned by ESPN Inc., a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company (which operates the network, through its 80% controlling ownership interest) and the Hearst Corporation (which holds the remaining 20% interest). The channel is dedicated to coverage of collegiate sports sanctioned by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) including live and recorded event telecasts, news, analysis programs, and other content focusing on the conference's member schools.
