Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson News And Update: To Make 20 Gigantic Movies In The Coming Years

Actor Dwayne Johnson also know as 'The Rock' is now attached to some upcoming movies that will be launched in the coming years. Truly this actor had captured the heart and mind of producers and directors and just love working with him. His Disney animated film "Moana" as muscle bound demi god Maui is set to release on November 23.

For some of his upcoming movies, here are some that is already on the process. 

He is currently filming "Jumanji", a sequel to the original film which was starred by Robin Williams. The said fild will be due in December 22, 2017. 

Johnson has  also"Baywatch" the remake of the hit 1980s TV series, coming out May 19; and "Fast 8" the next installment in the "Fast and Furious" franchise being released Aug. 11.

"Rampage" the film adaptation of the video game starring Johnson recently got a release date of April 20, 2018.

"San Andreas 2," a sequel to his 2015 action film "San Andreas," in which a rescue-helicopter pilot tries to save his family from an earthquake;  and he'll star as "Doc Savage," the man of bronze who was the original superhero of the 1930s.

"Shazam," in which Johnson plays villain Black Adam already has an April 5, 2019 release date and he will reprise his role as Hank in "Journey 3: From the Earth to the Moon" a sequel to 2012's "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island."

"The Janson Directive," in which Johnson will play ex-Navy SEAL Paul Janson; a remake of the 1986 cult classic "Big Trouble in Little China" and a film inspired by the Disney ride "Jungle Cruise."

There are also rumored movies that said he will be casting like "G.I. Joe 3," a continuation of the "G.I. Joe" series; a spin off or another "Fast and Furious"  movie for Johnson's character Hobbes; a sequel to Peter Berg's 2003 action comedy "The Rundown" which starred Johnson as a bounty hunter and even the possibility of The Rock as the Wolf Man in a Universal remake of the classic horror film.

Last year, Dwayne Johnon ranked No. 11 on Forbes list of highest paid actor with an earning of $31.5 million.
