Green Day's 24-date tour kicks off on March 1 at Phoenix's Talking Stick Resort Arena and currently wraps five weeks later at San Diego's Valley View Casino Center on April 8th.

Against Me!, who released their own new LP Shape Shift With Me last September, will perform as the entire tour's opening act.

Presale tickets for the trek first go live for members of the band's Idiot Nation fan club on October 12th, followed by a general on-sale on October 14th. VIP packages, on-sale items and ticket information are all found on Green Day's website, www.greenday.com.

Green Day are getting ready for their short series of small venue shows, which includes an October 17th gig at Los Angeles' Palladium before a hometown gig October 20th at Berkeley's UC Theatre.
