The Prince of Cambridge left the hospital and spent his first with mom and dad in Kensington Palace. There he was visited by some notable individuals.

First off, the Queen herself went to visit her new great-grandson. Queen Elizabeth II met the Prince Wednesday. However, the Queen was not accompanied by Prince Philip, as he was recovering from an abdominal surgery.

Prince Harry went to visit his new nephew, said palace officials. Also, Pippa Middleton, Kate's sister, has also met her new nephew as well, reported BBC.

Prince Charles, William's father, went to visit, too. He came with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and took a peak at his grandson.

Kensington Palace will be the royal baby's home now. The palace went under renovation using GBP1 million of taxpayer's money.

Internal works, including plumbing and boiler replacement, re-wiring, and removal of asbestos, cost GBP600,000. Slate, tiles, and lead roof were badly damaged. The replacement cost GBP400,000.
