iRule receives $100,000 in Series B funding from IncWell

IncWell LP, a private venture capital company, had invested $100,000 in iRule in Series B funding. iRule makes a universal remote control app that allows users to control home gadgets from their tablets or mobile phones. The company currently boasts of 11,000 households that used their product, which works for both iOS and Android. It is available in the Apple App Store, Android's Google Play, and Amazon's appstore for Android. Independent dealers worldwide also carry the app.

Itai Ben-Gal, CEO of iRule, reiterated the need for their product. "We knew there was a need for a better remote control, and iRule can convert any mobile device into an easy to use control system," he said.

On the other hand, IncWell Founder Tom LaSorda believes that "iRule has what it takes to continue to expand around the world." He also said, "Every home entertainment or automation system will benefit from their universal remote." IncWell provided funding less than 2 months after iRule pitched their presentation.
