Swissport International Ltd said that they are in exclusive talks for the acquisition of Servisair. Both companies did not disclose the price of the deal.  The acquisition of Servisair will be the latest achievement for Swissport since it was purchased by PAI Partners SAS last November 2010. The acquisition will add an estimated 15,000 employees to the 40,000 people working for Swissport.

In September of 2012, Swissport purchased Flightcare Belgium and Flightcare Spain from FC Versia SA. Swissport announced in March of plans to buy the majority shares for the ground handling operations of the Nordic Airline SAS Group AB.

Swissport International Ltd, with headquarters in Germany, is a leading Aviation luggage-handling service company. Servisair is owned by the recycling and maintenance group Derichebourg SA.

Sycomore Corporate Finance SAS and BNP Paribas SA (BNP) were hired to act as the financial advisers for Swissport. PAI along with Lazard Ltd. (LAZ) and Societe Generale SA advised Derichebourg for the deal.
