Evercore Names New Senior Managing Director to Establish Singapore Office

Leading investment advisory firm Evercore announced Keith Magnus as the new Investment Banking business Senior Managing Director who will be tasked to set up the the company's Singapore branch.

Magnus will act as Chief Executive Officer of Evercore in Singapore whose roles and responsibilities center upon providing strategic advice on acquisitions, capital and merger markets to companies in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

"We are extraordinarily pleased to have a banker of Keith's caliber agree to join Evercore in a senior leadership position," commented Evercore's President and Chief Executive Officer, Ralph Schlosstein, regarding Magnus, adding, "Keith has deep relationships in Singapore and across the region, extensive transaction experience as well as a strong reputation for integrity and for providing insightful, objective and independent advice."

Magnus has a solid, ten-year track record of achievements to his name including acting as adviser for various public transactions with a combined value exceeding USD 40 billion in acquisitions & mergers. He has also participated in raising capitals for different noted institutions such as Wilmar, YTL, Bayan Resources, Temasek, Changi Airport Group and Keppel.

Magnus is the holder of double degrees comprising of Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University in Australia.
