Actev Motors introduces its new product: Arrow Smart-Kart, go kart for kids. The vehicle was designed by professional racecar drivers, equipped with today's technology embedded in the Smart-Kart.

Arrow Smart-Kart is designated to kids age 5 to 9 years old and parents can monitor and supervise the children riding the go kart on their Android and iOS device. CEO and co-founder Dave Bell told PR Newswire, "As a long time-car enthusiast, I wanted to leverage my 35 years of technology experience to bring a whole new category of fun and safe vehicles to families."

Bell further explained his Arrow Smart-Kart, "Simple battery-powered ride-on cars don't excite today's kids – they seek high-tech interactive experiences. The Arrow Smart-Kart gets kids off the couch and outside, and behind the wheel of a real driving machine."

All kids love to drive a toy car, and the most popular one is Power Wheels Jeep. However, when a kid turned 5, the Power Wheels will not be able to support the kid's weight. Therefore, Arrow Smart-Kart is created for pre-teens. As CEO Dave Bell told The Verge, "By the time [kids] get to 5 years old, they're pretty much done with Power Wheels. They're bored with it. It doesn't go very fast, it doesn't really have any features."

The Arrow Smart-Kart will make its debut in this year's American International Toy Fair in New York City. The annual toy fair will start this weekend.

The Verge also reviewed the smart go kart, with its headrest speaker that can launch a V-12 Ferrari engine sound. Actev Motors is now working on library to add more engine sound. The go-kart's top speed is 12 miles (19 km) per hour.

One more fun thing is kids can do donuts riding Arrow. Furthermore, Actev will also provide rings to slide in the back wheels to give enough slip for drift. The kart is equipped with collision sensor to prevent the cart from a head-on crash.

Parents can control the go-kart's speed, range, and geo-fence barrier with iOS and Android app. Its onboard GPS tracker will automatically slow the vehicle to a crawl when it goes over the geo-fence barrier. The app link to go-kart over wi-fi connection.

Gizmodo wrote that Arrow is a feature-packed as Tesla Model S, without the $70,000 price tag. Arrow can run for 30 minutes up to one hour on a full battery charge. Beside the overnight charging, the company also has fast charging option and additional battery.

Designed by professional racecar drivers, Arrow Smart-Kart provides a driving experience for pre-teens kids. Equipped with GPS, Wifi and collision sensor, it provides sufficient safety and parental supervision.
