Private equity veteran becomes member of EO-DC's board

T.J. Jubeir, managing partner and founder of Capital Partners, has been named as one of the board of directors of Capital Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO-DC). The private equity veteran, was joined by 12 other new members of the board.

The Entrepreneur Organization, which is a global business network, is present in 35 countries. It currently has 8,000 members from 122 chapters.

Jen Sterling, the incoming president of EO-DC, said they have lined up an "amazing curriculum" for the calendar year. "The board has stepped up to create an even more amazing experience for its members," she said.

"EO has enabled me to be a stronger CEO, a stronger contributor to our community, and I'm honored to be able to lead this chapter through this next year and beyond," she said.

Aside from Sterling, the other members of the board include: Viraj Gandhi and John Norton as the incoming co-learning chairs; Anna Birch, member chair; Craig Merills as the strategic alliance committee; Jubier as the forum chair.

Meanwhile, John Tsaknis is named the incoming finance chair; Elizabeth Shea is the incoming communications chair; Michael Goldstein is the emerging chair; Alex Armour is the integration chair and Dawn Espinoza is the incoming spousal chair.
