The red carpet event on Tuesday night displayed a slimmer figure of Nicole Elizabeth "Snooki" Polizzi. Critics accused the American reality television personality from MTV's Jersey Shore and Snooki & JWoww of getting too thin.

"Relax. You're all delusional! I am in the best shape of my life. I have a lot of muscle mass and I feel the healthiest and happiest I've ever been," Snooki said. "I enjoy working out, and being healthy and fit is important. I'm the size of a 5th grader, I'm supposed to be small. Accept it!"

Snooki was a Chilean-American whose net worth was US$4 million. Her income per episode in the shows she made was US$150,000. She went through an eating disorder which motivated her to become veterinary technician.

The television series Jersey Shore suffered from protests done by the community in the Jersey shore area. The residents and corporations felt like the series gave a negative light to the place. This resulted to the decline of sponsors. American Family Insurance, Dell, Domino's Pizza and UNICO National were just some of the corporations that pulled their advertisements for the show. They said they did not condone any form of ethnic bashing.

Snooki responded with offensive remarks about the advertisers. This further embarrassed the show and resulted to its financial crunch.
