'The Huntsman: Winter's War' recently unveiled its latest full-feature official trailer showing Chris Hemsworth's Eric battling it out with two powerful evil sisters. Charlize Theron returns as the villainous Queen Ravenna while Emily Blunt joins the new cast as Theron's on-screen sister Freya the Ice Queen.

According to The Daily Mail, the official full-sized trailer of the upcoming spin-off to 2012's 'Snow White and the Huntsman' has finally debuted and featured Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt as two malevolent sisters set to conquer the land. Theron returns as the Evil Queen Ravenna, who was vanquished in the preceding film only to be resurrected by Blunt's Freya the Ice Queen.  

The trailer also featured the forbidden love affair between Chris Hemsworth and Oscar-nominee Jessica Chastain's characters Eric the Huntsman and Sara the Warrior, according to Deadline. Kristen Stewart's Snow White is noticeable missing in the spin-off.

Stewart allegedly stirred up some controversy in the first film when she got involved with then-married director Rupert Sanders despite being in a relationship with 'Twilight' co-star Robert Pattinson.

Hemsworth revealed that the second film in the series will be much different from the first, according to Cinema Blend. He said, "This time around, there's a solid love story and a great relationship between Jessica Chastain's character and mine, which is the heart of the story. But it's a lot more fun, much more in the vein of say, Willow, or something."

The plot follows Freya fleeing the kingdom only to settle in wintry isolation to raise an army of Huntsmen, including Eric and Sara. When the two fall in love despite orders of forever hardening their hearts, Freya banishes them and eventually resurrects her evil sister. The two powerful villains join forces to threaten the kingdom and it's up to Eric and Sara to stop them.

'The Huntsman' is an upcoming dark fantasy and adventure film directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan intended as a spin-off to Rupert Sander's 2012 release 'Snow White and the Huntsman'. It is scheduled to be released on April 22, 2016 in the United States.
