uSamp gets US $15 million financing

uSamp raised a total of US $15 million from DuPont Capital Management and OpenView Venture Partners after the close of a series D financing.

The company, which was established in 2008, has grown rapidly as it continues to provide technological innovation in the utilization of mobile research. It gives insight and sampling solutions to numerous clients all over the world including Microsoft, Google, Loews, NBC, Clorox, Ipsos and Nielsen.

"This financing will be used to accelerate the development of our Instant.ly platform, a powerful new way for marketers to access and evaluate data," Alan Gould, uSamp's CEO said in a statement.

"The need to make sense of and act on changes in consumer behavior is placing a premium on insight products that are easy to access and that offer our clients multiple ways to understand their markets and interact with their customers," he added.

OpenView also expressed its excitement over the deal stating further that uSamp will be leading the evolution of providing marketers with real-time insights.
