Rise of the Tomb Raider started making more waves since it was released, and though Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics as well as Microsoft feel that the title has not surpassed the financial projection made for the game, it can still be considered an utter success. Now, new downloadable content (DLC) updates are set to be released sometime soon and it is ready to test the players' sheer stability.

As reported by IGN, the downloadable contents for Rise of the Tomb Raider have been set and scheduled, especially for the Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch. The said content can be obtained through the quick availing of a Season Pass, or players can opt to get the solo content with the new Endurance Mode that is set to hit the shelves on December 29th.

According to Tech Times, the up and coming Endurance Mode is a true challenge for the survivalists as the name suggests. The players are not given any resources to start the missions with, and must do all the necessary measures to survive such as collecting, crafting and catching animals if the scenario calls for it.

Gamers will fancy the idea that they can actually engage in competing for the longest survival time in a leaderboard system that will eventually declare them as the "Ultimate Survivor" given that they accomplish the given difficulties.

Delivered by Examiner, the Baba Yaga downloadable content that was officially introduced back at the Game Awards 2015 will be the next biggest thing for the gamers that await more updates. In simpler definition, the game has been noted to be somewhat grim and dark as with a rather horrific ambience, wherein vision can prove deceitful in determining the threats that lie ahead. The said pack will equip players with a new outfit as well as a bow.

For the longevity of next year, gamers will be treated to another massive update entitled Cold Darkness Awakened, which is yet to be elaborated on by Microsoft. That being said, fans of Lara Croft and her radical quests can stay put until the Baba Yaga DLC come forth as well as the toughness test of Endurance Mode wash ashore. Stay tuned for more on Rise of the Tomb Raider.
