The American mystery anthology television series Secrets and Lies will centralize on Kate Warner's murder on the second season. Season 2 will expose the real person behind Kate's death. Michael Ealy to replace Ryan Philippe, Terry O'Quinn, Mekia Cox and Katey Sagal will also be enlisted as new cast members.

In the recent spoilers released by International Business Times, the second season of Secrets and Lies will follow Detective Anrea Cornell's (Juliette Lewis) investigation on the case of the death of Kate Warner played by Jordana Brewster. Detective Cornell with begin the case with Kate's husband Eric Warner (Michael Ealy).

However, as the investigation progresses Detective Cornell will soon uncover that other people close to Kate may be involve with the victim's muder. Characters Melanie Warner (AnnaLynne McCord), Patrick Warner (Charlie Barnett), and Danny (Kenny Johnson) will also be scrutinized by Cornell, Christian Post published. Sons of Anarchy's alumna Katey Sagal will join Season 2 and her character named May is crucial to the Warner's connection to the case.

Enstarz reported that Season 2 of Secret and Lies will miss the presence of the Crawford family, including Natalie Martinez known as Jess and Indiana Evans known as Natalie. However, the crawford family will be replaced by the existence of the powerful Warner family. Terry O'Quinn will also be introduced in Season 2 as John Warner, Eric's father and Mekia Cox as Amanda Warner, Eric's sister and lawyer.

Secret and Lies Season 1 was received well by the viewers and at the same time got positive reviews from the critics. The high viewership ratings attributed to the stellar cast which included actor hunk Ryan Philippe and Juliette Lewis. The series was also first of ABC's anthropology series.

ABC's Secret and Lies Season 2 is reportedly to air in the mid-season of 2016 or to replace Nashville on its fall season break.
