The chaos at the Wallace University campus will be coming to an end on Tuesday when Season 1 comes to a close. The show has not been officially renewed yet but everyone seems to be thinking of "Scream Queens" Season 2 already.

Although its  loyal fans are sad to say goodbye to the wild and blood soaked season, they are at the same time excited to know who is hiding behind the menacing Red Devil mask in the finale titled "Dorkus/The Final Girl(s)". According to IB Times, the episode title is after Melanie Dorkus, the former president of Kappa Kappa Tau who was burned in a spray tanning accident when her spray tanner was swapped with dangerous chemicals.

Keke Palmer who plays Zayday Williams, revealed in Cartermatt that she hopes to return for "Scream Queens" Season 2 and what she thinks of the new season's theme, "I loved the idea of the Summer Camp. I love that because it reminds me of Jason [from Friday the 13th], it reminds me of horror movies that I grew up watching and loving."

Keke added that she would love to see how series co-creator Ryan Murphy flips the theme on its head. For her at least, it would be like living a horror movie but in a funny way.

Meanwhile, Keke's co-star Oliver Hudson who plays Wes Gardner, as good as confirmed the Summer Camp theme.  He said in a television appearance, "have an idea. It's scary. I'm scared to reveal anything, [as] we don't even know if it's gonna be picked up. But whatever -- think summer camp."

According to Design n Trend, Murphy revealed at a Q&A at Fan Fright Fest last October that he has already pitched the story idea for Season 2 to Fox executives who were excited about it. He further revealed that three to four cast members survive from the last season. in "Scream Queens" Season 2, the survivors move to a new place where they have to fight a new killer.

He further revealed that  viewers will meet ten additional characters in the show's next installment. He also said he already started casting.

The first season hooked a loyal following because of its shocking twists and wry sense of humor. However, the adoration has not translated to high ratings for the show. There is not even much of a guarantee for a "Scream Queens" Season 2. If ever it gets picked up by Fox, do you think that Summer Camp will be a good theme for the series next season?
