China planned to boost technology and accelerate the progress of less energy-concentrated and polluting industries. Its effort to improve the structure of its economy and shift development toward local demand was hoped to give positive results.

The private investments in the industry of telecommunications would be stimulated. The building and upgrading of internet and interaction infrastructure would be enhanced. The details came yesterday on the website of the central government following a summit with China's cabinet. The country also planned to provide 4G wireless licenses by the end of 2013.

According to Premier Li Keqiang, China should concentrate on encouraging restructuring and pursuing reforms. This would give a free rein to its economy's potential. Li committed to cut the country's role in the economy and initiate state-dominated industries to private investment.

The building of main energy-saving programs would be accelerated. The money would be channelled from the central budget to sustain them. The participation of private capital would also be welcomed.
