A new model of MacBook Air that will come in 13in and 15in variants will be launched at 2016 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). This new device is expected to arrive thinner than the existing models.

International Business Times reports that the redesigned and thinner 2016 MacBook Air will also feature a higher-performance processor. In addition, it could also have two versions that will sport a 13-inch display and a new 15-inch display option. However, Apple hasn't decided if its previous 11-inch model will still be kept.

According to The Inquirer, the new MacBook models will have bigger displays, nevertheless, it will still be thinner compared to those that are currently being offered that will be permitted through a "fully redesigned" internal gears across the board. It is also expected to have the yet to be announced version of OS X and an option of gold version.

This year's MacBook model was just released by Apple and was reported to feature a 12-inch display, Force Touch trackpad and the retina screens. On the other hand, this model only has one USB port, Parent Herald wrote.

The new 2016 MacBook Air is being rumored of arriving with similar features including, Force Touch trackpad, and improved resolution display as well as the latest mobile CPU from Intel where the energy conservation is being promoted. Many Apple enthusiasts also desire to know if this upcoming model will only have one USB Type-C port.

There is a statement from a renowned Apple analyst , Ming-Chi Kuo that there is a high possibility  that the company will not release the 2016  MacBook Air models  since its  12-inch model of MacBook is currently at the top seller PC product. Moreover, since the third party developers could not have sufficient time to port their several application software over to the next product, it would be very challenging for Apple to have a release next year.
