Greece showed satisfaction with the decision announced by the euro zone finance ministers. The said decision granted the debt laden country Eur6.8 billion to bailout its funds. However, the country hoped to get more cash, according to one finance ministry official who told Reuters on Monday.

The official spoke in condition of anonymity said that the Eurogroup's decision is satisfactory. He added that it was what more or less the country has expected. He added that an additional Eur1.8 billion fund would like to be received by Greece. The amount would be the last funding from the euro zone for this year. However, the said additional amount will be likely held as elections are coming in Germany and Austria.

The same official said that the approved deal last Monday made Greece redeem around Eur2.2 billion of bonds in August. The amount was enough to cover country needs and pay arrears.
