Integrated Solutions Group, Inc. (ISG), parent company of Professional Data Services, Inc (PDS), announced its acquisition of Data Strategies, Inc. (DSI). The purchase will strengthen ISG's grip over the electronic health records (EHR) business and project it as a key player in the community of ambulatory medical practice.

"As a company that is always looking to the future, the opportunity to expand was extremely exciting - and having a partner on the Pacific coast, a region steeped in technological innovation, is a huge boost to our business," said ISG President Gary Hobbs.

"Within our ever-changing industry, customer service, product options and company stability reign supreme. This acquisition strengthens our offerings in all of these areas," he added.

The number of ISG's staff and customers would most likely double because of the purchase. The company's products would also be distributed in 44 states, which were previously found in 30 states only.
