Beatson Clark receives funding from Regional Growth Fund

Beatson Clark, a glass manufacturing company, announced that it has received up to GBP1.7 million from the Regional Growth Fund. The company said that it will use the funds to create a bigger and more efficient machine for bottle forming. The fund will also be used to install a bulk palletiser form glass products packing in its Rotherham plant.

This investment is part of a bigger GBP12 million investment which involves larger capacity equipment.

Beatson Clark is a company which specializes in providing glass packaging services for businesses in the food, drink, and pharmaceutical sector across the globe. The investor, Regional Growth Fund, is a "flexible and competitive" GBP2.3 billion fund which operates in the United Kingdom since 2011 until 2017. The fund sustains projects that utilizes private sector investments to create economic growth.

"This funding is fantastic news for Beatson Clark and for the local economy as it will enable us to strengthen the service we provide to the pharmaceutical sector," said Lynn Sidebottom, sales and marketing director of Beatson Clark.
