Eads acquires Jatasco, expands regional portfolio

The Eads Company was founded in 1953 and is based in Houston. The firm is a provider of engineered flow control, filtration, instrumentation and other related products and services for gas and oil production. Eads serves process type industries including refining and petrochemical industries using specialized equipment.

Today, The Eads Company announced completed acquisition of Jatasco Inc. The latter is a distributor of engineered products and is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jatasco Inc primarily serves the energy industry.

According to the president of Eads Steve Albert, the acquisition of Jatasco is an ideal addition to the Eads portfolio. He also added that the purchase of the company was a first for Eads in its strategic move to acquire strong, well-positioned firms to serve its clients better. He also said that the transaction allowed Eads to expand into Oklahoma. It also allowed Eads to cross sell many of its respective product lines.
