Yottaa Closes US $16M deal with Intel Capital

Yottaa, developer of performance automation service, announced that it raised another US $16 million in its latest financing round after the commitment of new investor, Intel Capital.

To date, the company already closed US $30 million in funding after the earlier capital infusion of  Stata Venture Partners and General Catalyst Partners.

The money will be used to finance its expansion plans in both Boston and Beijing, improve its marketing and sales operations with the end goal of improving mobile and web experiences for businesses, the company statement said.

Yottaa has been helping improve customer experience by boosting performance from 30-80% for both content delivery networks and non-content delivery network sites.

Arvind Sodhani, president of Intel Capital, said following the closing of the deal said that Yottaa is right at the forefront of the convergence of mobile and cloud. He said their company is committed to supporting Yottaa's goal to optimize cloud and mobile technologies.
