Williams, Jones & Associates, an investment managing firm, signed an agreement entitling a 10-year renewal and expansion at 717 Fifth Avenue, according to a report from The Commercial Observer. Williams, Jones & Associates will relocate its offices to the building's 11^th floor which spans 13,581 square feet.

Commenting on the location and logistic investment, Lindsay Ornstein said "Williams Jones has been a long-time occupant of 717 Fifth Avenue. When their occupancy needs changed and they required additional space, the building owner worked with us to relocate the firm within the building and accommodate growth."

Ornstein is a principal at Transwestern, which represents the investment manager. Williams, Jones & Associates holds an estimated US$4 billion worth of equity and securities under its administration. Their clients include private investors, non-profit organizations and retirement plans.

"The firm has continued to grow and we are pleased with the efforts of Transwestern and Equity Office Properties to accommodate this growth and enable us to remain in the building for a third decade," said the investment managing firm's Chairman William P. Jones, Jr.
