'Orange is the New Black' star and Australian model Ruby Rose and all around movie bad guy Peter Stormare are set the join the action pumped set of much the much awaited sequel "John Wick 2". Filming has already started with a scheduled location shoot.

Ruby Rose the break out actress playing Stella Carlin of "Orange is the New Black" recently posted on her Instagram page that she will be joining the cast of "John Wick 2" according to a report by Daily Mail.  The 29-year-old Australian actress is not a stranger to action films anymore as she was recently in Cape Town filming her scenes for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter".  Rose's role though has not been confirmed yet.

Another noteworthy addition to the cast is Swedish actor Peter Stormare who has time and again proven he is one of the most sought after actors to play bad ass mob bosses. In this sequel though, he could go either way and be an ally, just like Willem Dafoe who played John Wick's assassin friend, Marcus.

Common has also been cast and he is going to be the chief villain in the movie. According to Cheat Sheet, he will play the head of security for a crime lord who happens to be a female. This is why there are speculations that Ruby Rose will be the female crime lord.

Aside from new additions to the cast, the movie crew is also scheduled to film on new locations. According to Maxim, filming has begun in New York and after wrapping up the crew will move to Rome. The first movie has character-centered plot and if that will be the same case for the sequel, then a change in scenery might give fans more insight on the mysterious and overly focused character who seems to have a great way of channeling his rage issues.

Directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are back at the helm hoping to surprise everyone with another smashing hit. Before the first movie was released, a lot of people raised their eyebrows about the plot but everyone who watched it seemed satisfied afterwards. This time, they are keeping the plot under tight wraps so fans would really just have to wait.

Actors like John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Thomas Sadoski, Ian McShane, and Bridget Moynahan will be reprising their roles. Ian McShane and Lance Reddick will be back as Winston and Charon from the Continental while Bridget Moynahan will most likely be in John's dreams or flashbacks.

There has been no announcement yet for the exact release date of "John Wick 2" and everyone is hoping that the upcoming sequel will top the first one when it comes to violence, action and gun-fu when it comes out on 2016.
