Legendary Pictures, owned by Thomas Tull, has been talking to several other studios as the set contact with Time Warner's Warner Bros.

Reports are saying that Tull is close to signing a new deal with Comcast's Universal.

The multiyear deal will have Universal distributing Legendary's films and will give the company a chance to expand in TV and in theme parks. NBC is part of Comcast and Universal.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Legendary accumulated US$600 million in equity, a US$700 million credit facility and a US$150 million in debt over the past two years.

Legendary is a production company that financed hits like the recent Batman movies, The Hangover franchise and the recent blockbuster hit, Man of Steel.

Since 2004, Legendary has financed movies for Warner Bros. One of the main jobs of the Thomas Tull owned company is funneling money from Wall Street firms to Warner Bros for movies that are seen to have the potential to be blockbuster hits.
