Approaching Thanksgiving, Amazon offers a great price for its Fire gadget series. It cuts Kindle Fire price to $35 and Fire TV to $25.

According to Time Magazine, starting Thanksgiving, Amazon will drop $15 of prices for Fire tablet, its number one best-selling product to $34.99. Amazon will also offer the Fire TV Stick at a nearly 40% discount to $25. This steeper discount is an ongoing struggle between Amazon, Apple and Netflix and others alike to entice customers. Before the discount, at current $50 price tag, Kindle Fire tablet is already the most affordable tablet in the market. Amazon plan to slash the price that is intended to attract more users to buy more Amazon e-books and Amazon Prime streaming video, since the device is depended upon the content from Amazon.com.

Amazon Kindle Fire is a 7-inch Android-based tablet and the latest of Amazon's Kindle e-book reader series. It runs a modified version of Google's Android operating system, specifically altered to promote Amazon content and specialized user interface. So far, Kindle Fire is the top-selling gadget from Amazon among their Kindle series. Another device that runs FireOS is Amazon Fire TV and its smaller version, Amazon Fire TV Stick. Both of them, Fire TV and Fire TV Stick are digital media player to stream digital entertainment to HDTV.

Prior to launching Kinde Fire device, Amazon has already enjoyed the success its Kindle e-book reader for four years. The device designed to enable users to access digital media provided by Amazon.com. Kindle Fire was first release in 2011, and it had a very good reception in the market.

USA Today believed that Amazon is aiming to dominate the low-end market with the offer. Amazon is serious about owning the low end of the consumer electronics market. It doesn't have a problem yielding the high end to Apple.

Tech Times also noticed how Amazon's target is to attract more users in buying their content with this price reduction. Considering Kindle Fire is already Amazon's bestselling tablet to date, tablet sale on Black Friday's is not for profit. The target is to give customers more chances to buy Amazon's products and services through Amazon store using affordable device.

Amazon is one of the retailers that announced its special offer in a Black Friday. The long weekend that marks beginning of Christmas shopping season is always the busiest shopping days of the year. During last year's Black Friday weekend, consumers spent more than $50 billion. Therefore, retailers  always try to engage more consumers with their most attractive offers for the days.
