Twilight Saga book series author Stephenie Meyer is on a new venture as an executive producer for a TV series. This could be a lot different from how the author does it before but this excites her too much with some good activities coming up ahead. The said TV series will be entitled 'The Rook' and apparently will still involve vampires.

According to Vulture, the TV series will be shown in Hulu and soon to be also in a British network. Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series will be the executive producer of 'The Rook' which is also plotted to feature vampires as well. 'The Rook' will be an hour-long show and it is based from the 2012 novel by Daniel O' Malley.

Lionsgate, the developer of the said TV series, has reported that 'The Rook' will be about Myfanwy Thomas, a lady who has extra powers that is employed with a mysterious British government agency. The agency is the sole responsible for defending the United Kingdom against supernatural threats and disasters, Deadline shared.

The exact date of the TV series debut has not yet been finalized, The Verge cited. Furthermore, Stephenie Meyer is indeed the right choice for 'The Rook' with her claims on how 'Twilight' series has been successful and made billions of dollars from its book and movie installments. Since 'The Rook' will also involve vampires similar to 'Twilight,' choosing Stephenie Meyer to executive produce the TV show is apparently a no-brainer.

It is still a high time for vampire stories and Stephenie Meyer's way of telling vampire stories is still perfect. In lieu, the 'Twilight' author has surpassed all expectations on how to tell story in the most interesting ways. With her experience in producing films, Stephenie Meyer is being projected to make 'The Rook' a hit.
