Advantage Insurance Taps GSO of Blackstone Group for Portfolio Advice
Advantage Insurance Holdings Ltd. tapped GSO Capital Partners as its exclusive portfolio advisor to expand access to collateralized loan obligations, secured bank loans, floating-rate loans and other corporate credit ventures.
GSO Capital Partners is the credit investment affiliate of The Blackstone Group L.P., one of the leading investment and advisory companies in the world.
Walter Keenan, CEO of Advantage, said in a statement that they are "pleased that GSO has partnered with Advantage to deliver GSO's loan investing expertise to the growing market for customized insurance products."
The account of Advantage will be handled by Mark Moffat, the senior managing director of GSO Capital Partners International, the company's London-based affiliate, the statement published in peHUB added.
Advantage Insurance was founded in 1993 by Ian Kilpatrick and has since grown into a billion dollar company with multiple branches in the US. It offers captive insurance management, alternative risk transfer services, and private placement life insurance to over 200 clients.
