As the team of Librarians become more independent, they become more self-reliant and courageous. In last week's second episode of "The Librarians", the story was all about Jacob Stone and his past. Christian Kane, who plays the role of Jacob, talks about how the life of Jacob evolves this season now that he has finally told the truth to his father. Meanwhile, Lindy Booth reveals important details on Cassandra Cillian. 

In the second episode of "The Librarians" Season 2, Jacob Stone came face-to-face with an unexpected man - his father. Jacob's father never knew his son is a genius and multilingual. Seeing an opportunity of taking off the burden he has grasped all his life, Jacob finally confessed to his father about his abilities as a genius and that he has been publishing books under a pseudonym. Unfortunately for Jacob, the father he saw was a shapeshifter.

The backstory of Jacob Stone and his father presented in episode two is just the beginning of a series of stories about Jacob. According to Yibada, Christian Kane revealed in an interview that his character will play a major role this season.

"You saw at the very end of last year if I had been a Librarian for more than ten years. You know where we end up. It's not a mystery anymore. You know who we will be at the end game," he added.

Another revelation shown in the previous episode, according to Examiner, was when Ezekiel Jones, played by John Harlan Kim, revealed he was recruited to MI-6 while Cassandra Cillian said that when the doctors told her about her tumor, she picked the day when she chooses to die.

In a post from Oregon Live, Lindy Booth, who plays Cassandra, said that her character will develop a sense of what she can do with her extraordinary abilities.

"The first season was about gaining these people's trust, and confidence in herself, and where she fits in the world. In the second season, we see her run with that," she added.
