Apple's recently released iOS 9.1 and 9.2's jailbroken versions are expected to be already underway. The jailbreak for these iOS might become available before 2015 ends.

Users of the iOS devices are expecting hacking groups like Team Pangu, to give jailbroken versions of the iOS 9.1 and 9.2. There were talks that the cracked models will be obtainable and accessible before the end of 2015 or in the first quarter of 2016. As a refresher, Latinos Post defines jailbreaking as the method of eliminating restrictions imposed by iOS on hardware by running the device on software exploits.

Furthermore, Yibada stated on its article that the Chinese team Pangu's latest iOS that are made available to jailbreakers include 9.0.1 and 9.0.2. In this case, if users want their iOS jailbroken, they cannot update their iPhone or iPad to 9.1 or 9.2 yet as it's complicated to downgrade to 9.0.2.

For 9.1 and 9.2 users, the only alternative way is to wait for a hacker to finally release the latest jailbreaking tools that will work on the software. But as of the moment, there are no jailbreakers  have been successful yet.

The only team to have achieved this is reportedly an unnamed hacking group who participated in Zerodium's million dollar "iOS 9 Bug Bounty". It was noted that the successful hacker got $1 million for cracking the iOS 9.1 and 9.2. However, it is unlikely that the cyber security firm would just give the jailbreak version to the public since they have paid a lot for it.

In line with this, Master Herald stated that Apple have been doing a lot of efforts to make sure that their users are not allowed to jailbreak the operating system. The company is also said to constantly release updates that work in this direction.

While Apple will do its the best to prevent hackers to jailbreak iOS 9.1 and 9.2, the members of the jailbreaking community are expected to do the same just to access the operating system. Rumors have it that the jailbroken versions will arrive earliest at late 2015.
