Square Enix has released not the trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 but that of Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD including its 2016 release window, contents of the final chapter prologue, and its price at D23 Expo Japan. What's new on KH3, however, is fresh screenshots hinting a new world to be added in the highly anticipated title. 

As reported by GameSpot, Square Enix has released new screenshots for upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD compilation that include both Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage games.

The screenshots particular for Kingdom Hearts 3 revealed the game's central characters Sora, Goofy, and Donald taking the Shooting Ride. The new images prompt many of Disney enthusiasts to see similar attributes to Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride at Disneyland and led the to guess that the next title to the series will feature new Toy Story world. Although, this speculation is not officially confirmed by Square Enix at the time of this writing.   

The screeshots for Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD indicates key characters like Mickey, Kairi, Riku, and Roxas all geared up for a battle. Meanwhile, screenshots for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage shows King Mickey, Riku, and Kairi in a conversation with Mickey's Master Sorcrer Yen Sid. As noted, this a new playable in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.

According to an earlier report of Siliconera, Square Enix showed a clip on the making of new trailers adding that Kingdom Hearts 3 latest sneak peek will be out in public on Nov. 4 at 3 p.m. Japan Time. Unfortunately, there's none released until now other than Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD trailer which revealed its 2016 release.

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance Remastered

• Originally released in 2012, Kingdom Hearts [Dream Drop Distance] HD is a full-HD remastered version of Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance]. Series protagonists Sora and Riku take on the Mark of Mastery exam in preparation for coming threats. The signature action of the Kingdom Hearts series has evolved, allowing players to experience faster-paced battles and exploration at a blistering pace.

Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage

• A completely new playable episode that links to the story of Kingdom Hearts 3, taking place after the storyline of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep played from the perspective of Aqua.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained Back Cover Movie

• A new HD movie that tells the mysterious story of the Foretellers, connecting the earliest parts of the series' history, showcased in the upcoming mobile title Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ[chi].

The exact release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 remains a mystery even after the culmination of D23 Expo in Japan last week. Kingdom Hearts 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, on the other hand, will be released exclusively for PS4 in 2016 for $59.99.
