Brazil Hospitality Group (BHG) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Castelari Construtora Ltda. The memorandum entails the management of a hotel under development in Sao Joao do Meriti.

The agreement signed is for the consolidation of  Brazil Hospitality Group' operation in Rio for 5 operating hotels and for the 6 which are still under development.

The hotel in development will have a total of 264 room and will include a residential tower with 228 units and a commercial tower with 216 rooms. It will also house 3 convention rooms that can accommodate 282 people and a restaurant that would seat 184 clients. Located a few meters from the Presidente Dutra Highway with an easy access to the Avenida Brasil and the Linha Vermelha. It is also situated in front of the Grande Rio Shopping which is the largest in the Baixada Fluminense region.

Sao Joao do Meriti stands as one of main municipalities of Baixada Fluminense region, which is located in the metropolitan area of Rio de Jeneiro.  Sao Joao do Meriti is bordered by Nilopolis, Nova Iguacu, Rio de Jeneiro, Duque de Caxias Roxo and Mesquita.
