Today, Yardi announced that it had acquired Pierce-Eislen, a supplier of property and market level research. Peirce-Eislen is responsible for the reports of multifamily industry in 58 markets throughout the US.

Pierce-Eislen has a unique online service bundles information, process and technology that translated into a unique transaction engine. The aim of the company is to provide apartment industry data at property, market, regional and national levels. Currently, Pierce-Eislen reports on all apartment communities that are over 50 units in size.

According to the founder of Pierce-Eislen Ronald Brock Sr., the merger of Yardi and Pierce-Eislen showed an aggressive growth strategy. The union will help Yardi to bring the most complete and fully bundled information source to a national audience, he added.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Yardi Gordon Morrell said that the company is excited to welcome Pierce-Eislen. The company is also thrilled to bring in the unique real estate market reporting capabilities service to the industry.
