New York-based hedge fund company Twin Capital Management LLC announced its new vice president early on Tuesday. Sarah Petner, former associate at Jeffries LLC, was named by Twin Capital as the new veep. She will now be under the management of Kevin Gahwyler, chief operating officer and director for business development of Twin Capital.

The hiring came after the company's robust growth and good performance.

Petner will maintain the company's high quality contract for investors alongsige Twin Capital's ongoing growth strategy, according to founder and chief executive officer David Simon.

Prior to the hiring, Petner served as FactSet Research's consultant where she managed a US$400 million long term/short term fund. Only six investment professionals were allowed to handle the said fund.

She graduated with an undergraduate degree in political science and economics at Tulane University.

The company also hired Yoav Strammer as its assistant trader. Strammer was previously UBS Sercurities trader. He has a degree in finance and business administration from the University of Iowa.
