Don Mattrick was named as the new CEO for Zynga Inc. Mattrick was brought in to replace founder Mark Pincus who personally recruited the former Xbox head. This decision was hailed by Wall Street as a bold move, but still leaves the question that many are deemed to ask, "Who is really in charge?"

Mattrick is credited for the rise of Microsoft's Xbox business as a gaming powerhouse. With his move to Zynga, he will be in control of the operations including giving the green light to new games.

Mattrick, based on sources, hesitated in agreeing to take job, but ultimately agreed as Pincus opened up to Mattrick how he has finally made the decision to hand over the reins of the company that he built in 2007.

Due to the bold move, Wall Street cheered on the handing over of the reins of Zynga that shares of stocks  for the company shot up to at least 10% and up another 3% hours after the announcement.
