China will try to draw up rules to regulate ride hailing service as the market has grown very big. Meanwhile Indonesia transportation minister plan to ban Uber and GrabTaxi.

UberMOTO is now made available in Bangkok competing GrabTaxi's GrabBike. Due to the staggering loss it incurred in China, Uber finds Bangkok as a fit location to pilot its motorcycle service program that will give two free rides to first-time riders until March 15 as its celebratory offer.
After enjoying successful services in several Asian countries, GrabTaxi introduced a carpooling service in Singapore. The service is available for testing on Wednesday in the country. Drivers participating in GrabHitch must provide elligible document and verification checks.
Singapore said on Friday it plans to regulate fast-growing third-party taxi booking services like Uber and GrabTaxi for the first time, capping fees and requiring them to dispatch only licensed cabs and drivers.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based taxi app GrabTaxi closed its Series A round with more than $1 million from Singaporean state-owned investment firm Vertex Ventures to conquer Southeast Asia.
