U.S. automaker Chrysler Group LLC said it had changed its name to FCA US LLC effective immediately to follow the naming convention of its parent Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) NV (FCAU.N).

Despite the relatively low price Fiat managed to score in its buyout of Chrysler Group LLC, analysts said the ballooning debt of Fiat should be something to worry about.
Turin, Italy-based car maker Fiat SpA restarted negotiations to purchase the remaining shares of US-based auto manufacturer Chrysler Group LLC, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Italian automaker Fiat SpA said in its announcement today that although Chrysler Group LLC has postponed plans for a 2013 initial public offering, the former expected the latter to carry on with its plans for a share sale next year.
