The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will be released to the market exclusively through Verizon Wireless either October or November this year.

Verizon Wireless usually launch its new smartphones during the October/November time frame, and they are expected to do the same this year. According to Digital Trends, Verizon and Motorola joined forces last year as the Droid Turbo was the only Droid that Verizon has released. But despite that, Verizon Wireless will most likely offer not just one, but two Droids this year.

According to Master Herald, the Droid Turbo 2 will have the same look as that of the Motorola Moto X Force. The article also provided details of its specifications such as the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor and will feature a 5.43-inch QHD display. It will be armed with 3GB of RAM and shall come in either a 32GB or 64GB storage. The device will include a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. And lastly, the smartphone will be powered by a 3,760 mAh capacity battery.

Furthermore, Realty Today stated that there are hearsays about the Droid Turbo 2 sporting a uniquely shatterproof screen and a slip-proof rubberized side which makes it water-resistant. Apparently, the device can resist 30 minutes below three feet of water.

A lot of the users do not prefer to have the carrier's logo on their smartphones.  But since Motorola's new flagship smartphone will be released exclusively by Verizon Wireless, its brand logo will be placed in the front of the phone right between the speakers at the bottom. Indeed, it will be a disappointment for some who do not want to see a carrier logo on their devices.

If Verizon Wireless will follow the same schedule of release just like last year, fans will be anticipating the release of the new Motorola Droid Turbo 2 as soon as October or November of this year.
