Rumor has it that HTC will release its latest smartphone any time soon. The upcoming device is expected to be called as HTC One M10 or HTC O2. It is also said that it will be the most stylish and powerful smartphone in the One M series.

As seen in the Android smartphone market, the competition is growing day by day. This is probably the reason why the Taiwanese multinational manufacturer of smartphones and tablets has to maintain its position in the Android industry.

HTC One M10 might debut in early 2016 following the release dates of the previous models. Since HTC is known for its planning and stability, chances for the new HTC smartphone release date are less. However, there is also a possibility that it will be launched in December, given that other big companies are launching their new devices too.

The alleged features and specifications of HTC One M10 include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor with 3GHz octa-core HMP cyclone technology, 5-inch 2k or 4k resolution display, 4GB of RAM, and 3500mAh battery. In addition, the new handset might have a 27-megapixel dual camera with autofocus and face detection, two powerful stereo speakers, dual sim support, fingerprint scanner, as well as waterproof and dustproof certifications. Its price might range from $650 to $800.

Moreover, HTC One M10 is rumored to come with wireless charging and its camera will give direct competition to Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4. Aside from those, next year's flagship might also keep the design of its predecessor or have a new one.

There are still a lot of speculations circulating around the Internet today about the upcoming HTC smartphone. However, none of these are confirmed by the Taiwanese tech company yet. All HTC users and speculators just have to wait for the official announcements from the company.
