The Xiaomi Mi5, a next flagship smartphone from the Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is anticipated to arrive on September 4. The flagship's leaked photos said to show its purported fingerprint scanner and curved glass back features.

The rumors indicate that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 will allegedly come slightly larger than Mi 4. The flagship will reportedly feature a 5.3 inch screen with 1440 X 2560 pixels resolution and MIUI 6.0, while Mi 4 sports a 5.0 inch screen with 1080X 1920 resolution and MIUI 5.0, Yibada reports.

The site added that the Xiaomi Mi5 smartphone will also work on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with Quad-core 2.2 GHz & quad-core 1.8 GHz processor where the performance and curb heating issues are expected to be enhanced by this processor.

According to Christian Post, the Xiaomi Mi5 is projected to boast  a 16-megapixel back snapper and a huge 13-megapixel selfie camera. The device is also expected to run on the Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system with Xiaomi's own MIUI running on top of it. A 3000mAh battery claims to supply power for the flagship.

A Chinese microblogging website, called Weibo with its user going by the name @KJuma was stated the one who  leaked the photo of the next-generation Xiaomi Mi 5 which apparently revealed the back of the device. In addition, it reportedly also shows a curved glass on the sides that can also be found in the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 5,Tech times wrote.

What's more is that based from the image, it comes out that the Xiaomi Mi5 could be constructed along a metal chassis which includes two speaker cutouts at the lower portion of the device. The Chinese publication MobileDad also noted that a Fingerprint scanner may also be featured on the handset.

Speculations suggest that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will carry a price tag of about $386 and could be revealed at an event that will take place on September 24.
