Microsoft is still preparing for its huge announcements in its upcoming event happening in New York a few weeks from now. However, while everything is still in the works, various sources have already published leaks to one of the tech giant's much anticipated hybrid PC, the Surface Pro 4. The rumorede device is said to have a number of improvements over its predecessor as well as new awesome features.

The new Surface Pro 4 is expected to have a 12" display, probably with a resolution  of 2,160 x 1,440 pixels. It willl weight the same as the Surface Pro 3, but the Surface 4 could be thinner. Another probability about the next-gen Surface Pro is that it could have a larger variant, perhaps with a 13" or 14" display, since Windows 10 comes with improved display scaling features. This makes the hybrid PC more suitable for displaying text and programs.

Another change to look forward to is that it will be running on Intel's latest fifth-gen Skylake processors that have great performance boost. However, there are also speculations that the new Surface Pro 4 would run on an Intel Core M processors, similar to what Apple has on its new MacBook. This is to help the company make up for the Surface Pro 3's overheating issue.

Furthermore, the new Surface Pro 4 should be coming out with Windows 10 preinstalled, making this device not only powerful but also intuitive for first-time Windows tablet users. It allows them to easily switch from a proper Windows desktop to a touch-friendly interface by simply attaching a keyboard or by sliding out the new Action Centre window from the right-hand side and tapping Tablet Mode.

Microsoft didn't make any comments regarding the rumors. Apparently, the company is just taking its sweet time to develop the Surface Pro 4, as well as some other new devices, while they build more interest to its target market. Further rumors indicate that the device may be a rival to Apple's 12.9" iPad Pro since it's also noted to be just as powerful in terms of hardware specs.
