Google's Larry Page and Sergey Brin has stepped a notch higher when they established Google's Parent Company Alphabet. Although Google will stay the same as it is, the parent company will be the search giant's do all the business.

Google announced lately that Google will not be under the umbrella of Alphabet which will oversee all the multi-billion dollar company's other ventures, Extreme Tech reported. Moreover, the said reorganization will bring more structure to the organization like what happened to Richard Brunson's Virgin Group of companies. Former Google CEO's Page and Brin will lead Alphabet while Google executive Sundar Pinchai will take over as the search engine's Chief Executive Officer.

With regard to branding, there were questions why it was named Alphabet. Page pointed out, through CNN, that the Alphabet was inspired by the collection of letters that represents the language, which like the company represents the humanity's greatest invention.

On the business side of the fence, the word 'alpha bet' refers to an investment term which means returns above benchmark. To go deeper on the alphabet itself, the search engine giant virtually went to all the letters of the alphabet with regards to their business ventures.

Google invented Android for A, Boston Dynamics for B, Calico for C, Deep mind for D, Fiber for F, and of course Google G. The list goes on until Z which only shows how diverse and adventurous the company has become from a simple search engine research projects in 1996.

Branding experts were impressed on how Google came up with Alphabet, Wired cited. A branding expert said that the Alphabet brand only showed Google's transition from a playful brand into a mature and grown up branding.

A company logo guru also commented that the Alphabet logo looks fun but at the same time a more business minded persona than the Google, which is good and excellent for the profit side of the company. However, the move created a stir in the perception of the public, but Page was quick calm the rough waters when he confirmed that everything will remain the same and it is just a business decision for the company.

With this move, Google showed another side of the multi-ventured company and Alphabet, which was astonishingly coined, only present Page and Brin's innovative and risk-taking attitude and intelligence.
