Last Thursday, August 6, Capcom unveiled the latest fighting equipment - Bow and Heavy Bowgun - for the forthcoming "Monster Hunter X" (pronounced as "Cross"). The latest instalment in the long-running "Monster Hunter" action series will be available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS starting November 28 in Japan.

New weapons for "Monster Hunter X" have been revealed. Last Thursday, Anime News Network reported that Capcom streamed two new instruction videos for the Bow and Heavy Bowgun, the last ones to complete all 14 weapons. It featured state-of-the art aerial fighting scenes, with each of the weapon's Hunting Art and Style. Similarly, Capcom previously released instructional videos for weapons in the same aerial class. Such were the Insect Glaive, Light Bow Gun, Switch Axes, Charge Blades, Gun Lance and Lance - some of which were already featured in the previous "Monster Hunter" games.

According to Siliconera, the Heavy Bowgun will be exactly the same as it was similarly portrayed in the previous "Monster Hunter" games. Although it is not combat-reliable in terms of mobility, its Aerial Style is suitable for fighting monsters. Its Hunting Art is called "Super Nova," that releases a powerful explosion upon impact. The Bow, which was featured in "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate," is a more versatile weapon compared to the Heavy Bowgun. Its Hunting Skill, the "Accel Rain" increases players' speed and charges for improved abilities.

Aside from the weapons mentioned above, Capcom first released the instructional series for the first six ones - the Great Sword, Long Sword, Sword and Shield, Dual Blades, Hunting Horn, and Hammer - which then followed by the videos about the Switch Axe and Charge Blade. As for the game's villains, Game Spot reported the release of new screenshots which featured a selection of ferocious beasts, including Dinobaruto, Zinogre, Tigrex and Rathalos.

"Monster Hunter X" will be available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. A Japanese release date is scheduled on November 28, while an official worldwide release date is yet to be announced soon.
