"Modern Family" season 7might see a major change in its casting and even in its setting when it premieres few weeks from now. The actor playing Joe Pritchett is reportedly being replaced by an older one, which leads to speculations that there will be a time jump in the hit sitcom.

Joe is the son of Jay Pritchett and Gloria Delgado and the half-brother of Manny. Born Fulgencio Joseph Pritchett, he first appeared in the fourth season of the ABC hit sitcom, and was played by 3 different actors already. The most recent is Pierce Wallace, who replaced the unnamed twins in season 4.

However, there are reports that a new child actor will play the role of Joe and he will be slightly older this time. Realty Today wrote however that ABC and the show's executive have not released any confirmation about the said change. But if it turns out to be true, there might be a time jump involved in the series as Joe is just a toddler when the series ended its sixth season.

There have been casting changes in the previous seasons of "Modern Family" already when Aubrey Anderson-Emmons replaced Ella and Jaden Hiller to be LilyTucker-Pritchett, the adoptive daughter of Mitch and Cam.

"I'm going up for sexiest ass against Kim Kardashian and she's like 10 years younger than me. She should be upset she's up against me. I think I beat her once or twice," Vergara said.

She added, "I've met her at red carpet events and she is just the most beautiful woman anywhere ... so somebody is going crazy to put me on these lists."
