CBS's "Supergirl" bulks up once again with Chris Browning's inclusion as the series' main antagonist. The "Sons of Anarchy" Star will reportedly play Reactron in the hotly anticipated superhero series when it premieres this October. Its premiere episode released in Comic-Con earned positive response but other spectators are claiming that CBS does not have the audience to make the show a hit.

CBS has also joined the list of networks that caters superhero shows with its newest offering "Supergirl" led by Melissa Benoist. The "Glee alum" will play Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El, the human counterpart of the famous DC superhero.

"Supergirl" will tackle Zor-El's arrival to Earth to protect her cousin, Kal-El, more popularly known as Superman. But since a wormhole will see her arrival years after Kal has grown into the superhero that he is, a foster family will keep her and develop her powers in secret until she grows into the woman who will work as an assistant in Cat Co. She will now have to choose whether she will become a happy career woman or Metropolis' superhero.

As we all know, Kara will choose to be known as "Supergirl" and now, the series has found its ultimate baddie, Reactron, to be played by Chris Browning, reports AV Club. Browning's character is the nemesis of Superman from Metropolis, who wears an armored suit powered by nuclear energy.

"Supergirl" will be the newest superhero on the small screen when it airs this fall and Variety predicts that the new CBS series will go head to head against Fox's "Gotham" during Monday nights. In a survey of primetime commercial-ratings projections by three big media-buying shops conducted by the site, the results indicated that the Benoist-starred series will beat the sophomore season of Fox's series by a tenth of a point among audiences between 18 and 49 years of age.

However, Screenrant noted that a lot of spectators are doubtful that CBS is the right home for the series, audience and experience wise. But since superheroes on TV are a hit nowadays, "Supergirl" may have a chance to outmatch the other shows with the same genre.

"Supergirl" will be hitting the small screen in a little over 2 months and in preparation, CBS taps "Sons of Anarchy"'s Chris Browing to be the show's ultimate villain in season 1.
