"Daredevil" continuously bulks up for their upcoming sophomore season with the inclusion Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung to the Netflix series. Bernthal was chosen to play the role of The Punisher while Yung plays Elektra. Now that The Punisher is in Hell's Kitchen, fans are excited if they will see some iconic comic scenes of the two translated to the series.

"The Walking Dead" alum Jon Bernthal joins the hit Netflix series and fans of the actor as well as the series cannot wait to see him appear as The Punisher. But apart from seeing him and Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock both in one scene, comics fans are also excited to see if Netflix will adapt their particularly intense scene to the show.

Movie Pilot reported that Daredevil and The Punisher have several encounters in the comics and one of them was both very graphic and disturbing.

A "Punisher" issue from 2001 saw a confrontation between the two where Daredevil is convincing Punisher that assassinating Dino Gnucci, a senior mob figure, will not help Castle restore justice. They engaged in a fight, which Daredevil could have won but Punisher used an ultrasonic device that immobilized the Daredevil.

When the Man Without Fear woke up, he is shackled while holding a gun with a single bullet aimed at The Punisher, who is already prepared to assassin Dino Gnucci. Daredevil has to make a choice whether to save an innocent but become a killer himself or just allow Castle to kill the mob figure , making Daredevil accountable as well for Gnucci's death. In the end, Daredevil chose to fire at the Punisher but his gun turned out to be empty, allowing The Punisher to still kill Gnucci.

Movie Pilot thinks that the scene will fit in the moral-debate of the show and could be included during the early parts of season 2.

Meanwhile, Elektra will also appear on the second season of the show, which will be played by Elodie Yung, reports Latino Post.

Jeph Loeb, Marvel Television head and the show's executive producer announced the actress' attachment to the show saying, "After a worldwide search, we found in Elodie the perfect actress to embody both Elektra's impressive and deadly physicality, as well as her psychological complexity."

Joe Quesada, Marvel Chief Creative Officer, also has praises for Yung during his interview with IGN. According to him, Yung's experience in "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" and "District 13: Ultimatum" makes her qualified for the role.

"She is the character. She looks like the character, she walks like the character, and then she has the martial arts training and stunt background that she can rely on," Quesada said.

"Daredevil" season 2 might see an intense scene between the Man Without Fear and Jon Bernthal's The Punisher. Elodie Yung was chosen as Elektra and will also appear in the new season which will premiere on Netflix by 2016.
