iPod Touch 6th Gen running iOS 9 compatible with Apple Watch; Possible release with iPhone 6S by September rumored

The 6th generation iPod Touch music player is apparently being geared up by Apple.The Apple insider has revealed that this might be released this year with an upgraded processor and camera.

The rumoured iPod Touch 6th Gen is expected to be thinner and will have a colorful plastic back. It is also believed that the upcoming iPod Touch 6th Generation will sport an A5 processor and a lightening connector. 

In addition, Master Herald reported that the rumoured iPod Touch 6th Gen will be having two versions - a 4.7-inch screen size version and a 5.5-inch display size variant. The two versions will be fitted with Apple's Retina display and will include support for the Apple Pay mobile payment system as well.

Another rumor says that the device will be compatible with the Apple Watch and will also be water resistant. What's more, the iPod Touch 6G is said to  come with improved security features, including Touch ID fingerprint sensor, enhanced battery life and an 8-megapixel camera.

Same as with the most Apple devices to be released this year, the sixth generation of iPod Touch will be powered by the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 9. Also, Gospel Herald noted that the buyers could settle on from versions with either m 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.

The upcoming 6th Gen of iPod Touch is supposed to be available in yellow, pink, green, orange blue, silver and space gray with a rumoured special edition gold..

Latest reports claim that the Apple Company is still building up the iPod Touch 6th Gen and will switch on selling it this fall at a price of $250 and $300 per unit, depending upon the variant.

On the other hand, a recently leaked internal email from Vodafone reports that Apple is also rumoured to release the iPod Touch 6G alongside the new iPhone which is expected to be launched on September 25, 2015. Thus, the Apple fans will be able to get their hands on the next generation iPod Touch and iPhone on the same day, only if these rumors are indeed true.
