Deloitte is in advanced negotiations on the plan to acquire Germany's Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, According to a Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung edition.

The paper said, without citing any sources, that Roland Berger Strategy Consultants has notified its 250 partners about its expected acquisition by Deloitte, adding that the German consulting company also drew interest from other accounting firms.

Deloitte is one of the largest accounting companies in the world whose services include financial advisory, auditing, consulting, and risk management.

Roland Berger Strategy Consultants is a global strategy consulting agency based in Munich that offers customized management consulting services.

Both companies are still not available to comment on the speculated deal.
